I've been living in the DC area for over two years now and have sampled many of the cultural opportunities in this area. In particular, I enjoy literary events and events relating to international culture at the embassies in the area.

I found this group by looking on Meetup.com! I am in my early 40s and I like to go out - so, here I am!

Where are you from?

I moved to DC from San Francisco, but I am originally from the Midwest, and also spent a couple of formative years in Tokyo, Japan, while I was growing up.

Which type of event are you more likely to attend - a big happy hour, an outdoors trip, or a smaller intimate dinner and movie event? [choose one]

I am more of an intimate dinner and movie type of person, though I can enjoy all three types of events.

I saw "Noises Off" on Broadway in NYC in 2002 (I think) and it was very funny. Can't wait to see it again. When is the group going to go?
