hey. It seems like alot of people have agreed that Friday would be best @ Crystal City Sports Pub. I think Steve said he was going to post a meet up so we can get a better idea then to call ahead and give the place a number of people.

Hi! I just heard back from the sales manager of Basikneads Catering in Alexandria, which hosts a lot of cooking classes, and she said: Classes are $90 per person and are held from 7:30-9 p.m. (usually Mon or Tues). We require the final count and payment by the Monday before the class. I recommend our Creole class. Chef Cornell is a former protégé of Emeril Lagasse and has a special Southern flare to his cooking. Also offer Seafood, Italian (gnocchi or risotto), and Poultry.

Hi, Susan. I'm new to this meetup group so I don't know if the organizers aregoing to act on members' interest in the cooking class, but I'm definitely game, so if you hear of one that sounds interesting, please let me know and I'll do the same.
